Plan the pool around the sun
Specify a SunRay hybrid at the planning stage and the finished pool runs 100% solar-powered through the day, with AC only where the plan calls for it.
Kits specified from $1,999
- Daytime
- 100% solar from a dedicated array
- AC
- AC is optional; plan it in for night or spa
- Run time
- 6-8 hours of sun per day
- Operating cost
- up to 30% on the utility bill
Specified early, simpler later
The kit's panels serve the pump alone, so there is no tie-in to the home's electrical panel to schedule.
Because no AC is needed for the solar to work, a pump can run where the plan has no grid power yet.
Night operation, by design
Where the design includes a spa or evening features, an AC supply lets the controller switch over automatically.
What the owner sees after handover
Owners typically save $100 to $250 a month compared with an all-AC pump.
